Against my Negro man nam'd Parris
From this day forth denounced War is:
For now the Dog is grown so wicked
He's run away without a ticket.
Which he shall never have, I tell ye,
Nor maigre soup to fill his belly.
If he don't halt at your command,
Pray knock him down to make him stand,
Or pepper him well about the A---e.
Be gar, dis make one pretty farce.
